Apple tree twinning - better late than never!

A lovely sunny afternoon, 50 people, photographers from all 3 local papers and sticky Dorset apple cake!

Poundbury Garden centre donated a perfect Cox's Orange Pippin. The Mayor came to plant the tree and talked about the 10:10 pledge taken by Dorchester Town Council.

Wow! What an amazing day! For many of us it was our first big national march. Lots of people all there to mak a very important point! Even the weather behaved itself for most of the day.
